With over 18 years of clinical experience, including direct practice in hand therapy, our certified hand therapist (CHT) is an occupational therapist. Our therapist has successfully passed a comprehensive test of advanced clinical skills and theory in upper quarter rehabilitation. Certification is voluntary and difficult to attain.
When you have had an injury and want the very best treatment to assure maximum recovery, these credentials offers assurance to you that our therapist has achieved the highest level of competency in the profession and stays up-to-date with practice within the field.
The CHT credential is recognized by many professional organizations as a benchmark for excellence in advanced specialty credentialing in health care.
Referral is made by physician prescription and is immediately followed by thorough evaluations and treatment planning. Therapy begins at the time of your initial visit. A variety of exercises and modalities are used during the hand rehabilitation process.
