With over 18 years of clinical experience, including direct practice in hand therapy, our certified hand therapist (CHT) is an occupational therapist. Our therapist has successfully passed a comprehensive test of advanced clinical skills and theory in upper quarter rehabilitation. Certification is voluntary and difficult to attain.

REFERRALS

Referral is made by physician prescription and is immediately followed by thorough evaluations and treatment planning. Therapy begins at the time of your initial visit. A variety of exercises and modalities are used during the hand rehabilitation process.

The goal of hand rehabilitation is to maximize the functional performance of the injured extremity. This enables the patient to return to independent working and living as soon as possible.
